FABRIC
PROPERTIES

Fabrics are cloth created by knitting, weaving or felting fibers.  Each fabric has its own texture of underlying structure.

APPLICATIONS

There are a large number of fabrics and textiles you are able to process with a laser cutter.  Whether you are redefining the surface of the material by etching patterns, graphics, or cutting out intricate designs, the application of a laser with fabrics and textiles is only limited to your creativity.

BENEFITS

The advantage of using a laser cutter over other applications to cut and etch fabric is the finished product.  The process leaves edges clean and eliminates any possibility of fraying.

Below are a list of common fabrics used in laser cutting and engraving:

IMPORTANT NOTE

Please remember not to fold the fabric.  Keeping fabric flat will limit any error when engraving or cutting.

No plastic coated fabric or impregnated cloth
