Fabrics are cloth created by knitting, weaving or felting fibers. Each fabric has its own texture of underlying structure.
There are a large number of fabrics and textiles you are able to process with a laser cutter. Whether you are redefining the surface of the material by etching patterns, graphics, or cutting out intricate designs, the application of a laser with fabrics and textiles is only limited to your creativity.
The advantage of using a laser cutter over other applications to cut and etch fabric is the finished product. The process leaves edges clean and eliminates any possibility of fraying.

Please remember not to fold the fabric. Keeping fabric flat will limit any error when engraving or cutting.
