ACRYLIC
PROPERTIES

DELRIN®
PROPERTIES

Delrin® is a lightweight, smooth, wear-resistant thermoplastic with great physical properties.  It can scratch easily if not protected.  Acrylic is a better option for engraving projects.

Delrin® is commonly used in high performance engineered products such as gear wheels, ball bearings, handles, fasteners, medical devices, appliances and sporting goods.

STYRENE
PROPERTIES

(HIPS) High Impact Polystyrene is an impact resistant and flexible plastic with a low melting point.  Most sheets come with a gloss finish on one side and matte finish on the other.  Styrene should not be used for intricate designs.

APPLICATIONS

MYLAR
PROPERTIES

POLYPROPYLENE
PROPERTIES

APPLICATIONS

Polypropylene is commonly used in packaging, labeling. textiles, furniture, medical equipment, and model making.

Polypropylene is very versatile in everyday applications.  The material has a high melting point, is lightweight, flexible, has a rubber-like composition and is unlikely to shatter with significant damage. Detailed designs can be cut and engraved out of polypropylene. 


ROWMARK
PROPERTIES

Rowmark is an acrylic based engraving plastic laminate.  It is used to create signs.  Rowmark normally consist of a two layer material.  When engraved the contrasting color is revealed.

APPLICATIONS

Common applications of Rowmark include signage, displays, trophies and awards, recognition plaques, desk and wall plates and other creative applications.

BENEFITS

Rowmark can be engraved on both sides.  The material is lightweight and scratch resistant.  It comes in a variety of colors with contrasting layered colors if desired.  Laser cutting and engraving Rowmark produces intricate details with a clean smooth finish.
