We Came, We Saw, We Had Fun!
After all of our hard work over the past couple months we were finally able to join in all the BeSwoon wedding festivities on April 14th at Thompson’s Point. What a Day!
If you have never heard of BeSwoon you are certainly missing out; especially if you are planning a wedding for yourself or as a business endeavor. This is an A-One event where wedding professionals and couples alike get to share hours of wedding excitement. BeSwoon is a unique wedding show that creates a real wedding feel via collaborations with diverse vendors. Each of the three wedding rooms present a unique nuptial atmosphere so couples can imagine how they want their own events to feel.
We feel very lucky to have been able to participate in several different areas within BeSwoon. Our “Let the Adventure Begin” and “Welcome” signage greeted attendees as they entered the affair. Our way-finding sign post helped them then navigate to different areas of interest which met their specific needs. As each visitor made their way through BeSwoon they encountered specific themed wedding rooms labeled with one of our custom wooden signs.
If guests wanted to relax during their wedding journey they could slip into the lounge area, also known as Perfect Pairings, equipped with a bar as well as The Waiters, a band with an array of musical expertise. In the lounge we were able to provide a glimpse into our wedding glassware prominently displayed in front of our wooden “BAR” sign. We also decided to create a fun guest experience with our Photo Booth Backdrop and props. Here is where we got to really show our unique personality as a business that puts the fun in function.
This beautiful wooden backdrop displaying our wooden “It was Always You” wall decor was a conversation starter among guests and became a popular stop for many who made their way into the lounge. Set up right next to the band gave a perfect ambiance for people to let their silly sides out as they took a break from considering such momentous wedding decisions.
Last, but certainly not least we were able to participate in the Urban Heirlooms room led by Blue Elephant Catering & Events. This room was dedicated to expressing familial traditions with a modern twist. In this room our involvement was shown through wooden table numbers and place setting names.
We were very proud to have been able to enjoy this wedding event as a business with a brand new wedding line as well as in support of other event professionals. We truly enjoyed working with all the vendors to create a seemingly effortless spectacle that all the guests would enjoy. This was a great opportunity for us to let people catch a glimpse of what we can do for any type of wedding as well as get feedback from other businesses as to what products they found enticing. Now that we are armed with information from all manner of BeSwoon attendees we are truly excited to have our own product launch event right here at our studio at 90 Bridge St – Suite 340B in Westbrook.
