The Newton City Map shown is only a black and white rendering, but is how it will look upon its creation.
Newton, Massachusetts is known as The Garden City and was originally part of Cambridge when it was known as “the newe towne” in 1630. Each year the nationally known Boston Marathon runs directly through the streets of Newton with course completion occurring in Boston. This city is 7 miles west of downtown Boston, and the suburb of Brookline to the east. Also, Newton is the 11th largest city in Massachusetts. It consists of 13 villages such as Auburndale, Chestnut Hill, Newton Corner, Newton Highlands, Newton Lower Falls, and Nonantum.
